We use a 13.3 oz/yd Sofftick fabric for our waterproof mattress. Most other manufacturers use an inferior 11-12 oz/yr fabric for their hospital / dorm mattresses. The Sofftick fabric on our hospital / dorm mattress is 100% phthalate free, so we all can sleep better at night.
